Check for gas soundness and correct operation
Clean burner bar, pilot injector and main injector
Check/replace Thermocouple (Safety device)
Check operation of ignitor and lead
Check thermostat operation

Clean out flue diverter and check flue draught and carry out spillage test
Check all parts for damage / corrosion and replace if necessary
Check gas pressure
Relight and observe flame pattern on completion
